COACHES-Important NOTE: Please do all you can to ’make it a game’ in cases of obvious mismatch. Players are still kids - at recreational share play & at competitive play. Think of ways to encourage BOTH teams, be positive, and play in such a way to keep both teams in healthy competition wherever possible. Extremely lopsided games do little to teach either side and do not demonstrate excellence in sportsmanship. At a handful of goals (5) most games are considered out of reach. Do what you can to keep it closer, Coaches. ~ Thank you for reaching for high standards and being ... Coach-able!~
